For more detailed instruction on specific topics, we offer a series of quick-start courses designed for new TaxWise users, but open to anyone. These are available for only $10 per person per class. For $5 more per class, you can receive one CPE (per class).

Please note that your office must first attend Orientation before participating in Quick Start courses.

Quick Start Course Listings:

• Tax Form Defaults - This session contains step-by-step instructions for configuring your program defaults thereby saving you from re-keying the same information in each tax return.
• 1040 Return - Basic instructions for preparing individual returns in TaxWise.
• Business Return - Basic instructions for preparing business returns in TaxWise.
• E-filing - Step-by-step instructions for creating and sending returns and picking up acknowledgements. Learn by using our Training Electronic Filing Center.
• Finding Help in TaxWise* - Once you have completed this class you may never need to call Customer Support again.
• Preparer and Bank Fees/IRALs* - We will discuss making sure you get paid for the returns you do.
• IPO Training - InterviewPLUS® Online allows you to add retail locations supported by non-professional staff using a simple interview format.

*The 1040 Return course is a prerequisite for these courses.

Quick Start Spanish Course Listings: (The following courses will be taught entirely in Spanish.)

• 1040 Return - Basic instructions for preparing individual returns in TaxWise.
• E-filing - Step-by-step instructions for creating and sending returns and picking up acknowledgements. Learn by using our Training Electronic Filing Center.
• Puerto Rico Individual Return - Basic instructions for preparing a Puerto Rico Individual return. We will be using an actual practice return and ask that you complete the return along with us.
